Azimjan Askarov, an ethnic Uzbek, is also charged with organizing mass disorder and inciting interethnic hatred in the southern Jalal-Abad Oblast during deadly clashes between ethnic Uzbeks and Kyrgyz in June.

Tajik Interior Ministry press secretary Muhammadjon Nazriev said today that National Security Forces captured Abdurasul Mirzoev near the town of Faizobod in the Vahdat district, 50 kilometers east of Dushanbe.
